Vineyard:

The McGah vineyard is a Napa Valley treasure, ideally situated just north of Oakville along the Silverado Trail in the heart of Rutherford. The vineyard’s prized benchland location is known for its distinctive terroir, produces ultra-premium fruit.  It is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.  Though Rutherford is a relatively small appellation, its unique combination of well-drained red and brown gravelly loam soils and a balanced microclimate- warm days paired with cool evenings—creates ideal conditions for achieving full ripeness, structure, and complexity. 

Tasting Notes

Our 2025 Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc offers lifted aromatics of citrus blossom, tropical fruits, and fresh-cut herbs, leading into a bright, layered palate of lime zest, passion fruit, and stone fruit. Subtle mineral undertones and crisp acidity provide energy and precision, while a rounded texture adds depth.
