The Metal Bender line of wines are named in honor of the Stringer
Family’s manufacturing business in Wisconsin. The business stamps,
machines and fabricates metal into components used in industries
throughout America. They are “Metal Benders”.

46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 13% Syrah 6% Petit Verdot
Ageing:
19 Months in 50% new French Oak barrels

Vineyards:
The 2019 Metal Bender Red Blend come from premier vineyards all throughout Napa Valley. The Cabernet and Petit Verdot portion of the blend comes from Oakville, Howell Mountain and Stagecoach while the Merlot and Syrah come from the cooler southern Los Carneros AVA.
Winemaking:
The Metal Blender Red blend is as a barrel selection of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot barrels with a dollop of Syrah and Petit Verdot added for complexity and structure. The wine spent an average of 21 days on its skins before pressing.
Tasting Notes:
The 2019 Napa Valley Metal Bender Red displays notes of bright red cherry, vanilla and cedar. It’s silky tannins along with bright acid provide the structure needed to hold up to hearty dishes.
